\nIl serait int\u00e9ressant de passer en revue certains points forts de la\u00a0pr\u00e9paration de ce concile. Commenc\u00e9e il y a 55 ann\u00e9es, elle est pass\u00e9e\u00a0par des hauts et des bas, des p\u00e9riodes de stagnation ou des p\u00e9riodes de\u00a0grande vitesse comme derni\u00e8rement. Pour un observateur il est clair\u00a0que ces deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, le processus est essentiellement d\u2019ordre\u00a0m\u00e9diatique et personnel ; en t\u00e9moignent l\u2019agenda de plus en plus\u00a0r\u00e9duit, les textes obsol\u00e8tes, les sujets br\u00fblants \u00e9cart\u00e9s, le r\u00e8glement de\u00a0l\u2019organisation et du fonctionnement du concile (qui ne fait pas\u00a0l\u2019unanimit\u00e9) et j\u2019en passe. Un tel Concile se pr\u00e9pare pour le bien des\u00a0croyants en tant que Corps du Christ afin de renforcer leur vie en Christ ainsi que leur t\u00e9moignage, et pourtant les croyants sont \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cart; ils\u00a0n\u2019ont pas eu et n\u2019auront pas durant les travaux du Concile voix au\u00a0chapitre.
